About Us
Hostel Estrella del Mar is not a business, it is a family that since 1972, (one of the first tourist establishments in Nerja), has been dedicated just and only to our guests. Joaquin and Argelina, we try to offer the family treatment that you long for. Our main wish is that you arrive here as a guest but departure as a friend.
For this reason, we try to give our guest the best personal and direct treatment that they deserve, trying that your stay with us would be as gratifying as possible. Our guests and our experience are our best quality mark.
Rooms
Our rooms are simple, comfortable, spacious and bright. All of them have a bathroom and a balcony, some of them offer spectacular views to the Mediterranean Sea, Burriana Beach and Almijara Mountains.
Due to the orientation of the rooms ( North- South) and to the direction in which the main winds go ( East-West), along with the way in which rooms are structured, with ventilation from the balcony to the bathroom, we have, with few exceptions, the best “air-conditioned” that mother Nature could provide us with, the freshness of the Mediterranean Sea.
By the other hand, as our interest consists on making your holidays as relaxed, quiet, and with the minimum levels of noise as possible, we imagine that you’d have supposed that our rooms do not have TV, radio, etc, we take for granted that if you choose us, is to enjoy a worthy rest, and that’s what we try to offer: to relax, and to forget stress, so that you could spend your spare time in whatever you want, beach, mountain, visit other towns…
Services
With reference to our services and facilities, we try to offer our guest everything they may need:
- Restaurant: Open at dinner time the whole year, in July, August and September, also at lunch time. Here you could enjoy our traditional Spanish food, inside our Restaurant or in the outdoor terrace.
- Bar: Open the whole day. You can have a drink in the bar as well as in its annexed saloon or in the outdoor terrace, or why not, in the balcony of your own room.
- Café: Open during breakfast and restaurant’s opening time, and equally you could enjoy your coffee or breakfast in any of the mentioned facilities or in your room.
We also offer other services to name a few, taxi, car rental, excursions, schedules, everything you may need in order to get to a particular place, recommendations, etc.
